Over the past two months, Hollywood has been at the center of media attention for all the wrong reasons. It all started in October, when The New York Times and The New Yorker rocked tinsel town by reporting that more than a dozen women have spoken out and accused movie mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment, assault, or rape.
Since then, the list of victims and attackers has grown extensively – more than anyone could have ever imagined.
From Harvey Weinstein, to Kevin Spacey, to Louis C.K. – it seems so many of the loved and respected have fallen from grace amid the outright disgusting claims.
And now, the latest star to be accused of sexual battery is Pulp Fiction and Grease megastar, John Travolta. The criminal complaint was filed by a then-21-year-old male masseur.
The unidentified masseur claims the incident took place back in 2000, at the LaQuinta Hotel in Palm Springs, California, where the actor was receiving a deep tissue massage.
The masseur’s complaint was obtained by RadarOnline.com, and details how the Saturday Night Fever star groped his butt and derived pleasure from openly confessing to imaginings of gay fantasies.
The victim alleges that whilst the requested massage was taking place, Travolta repeatedly removed his towel in order to expose his buttocks.
The complain states how the spa facilities opened past midnight purely for the actor’s private appointment on February 15, 2000. It goes on to reveal how the masseur administered a body scrub treatment, but was interrupted when the Face/Off star told the 21-year-old “he was very attractive and that he had gotten him excited”.

Reports then claim how Travolta proceeded to ask the young professional to accompany him into the steam room. The claimant agreed with the request, but only under the notion that the star “wouldn’t have to sit alone”.
Travolta, who is currently married to Kelly Preston, then allegedly offered to show the masseur his own massage techniques, to which the victim agreed, and proceeded to lay down on his stomach. However, whilst doing so, the 63-year-old Scientologist then began to reach under the young professional’s towel and started to rub his “inner thigh […] and began rubbing him on his bare buttocks, as well as the groove between the buttocks”.
The 21-year-old was reportedly left traumatized by the incident, and reported the assault to the Palm Springs Sheriff’s Department, who immediately dispatched an officer to the scene.
When Officer Mark Peters arrived at the scene, he was informed that an employee wished to file a complaint against Travolta for sexual battery.
In the report, Officer Peters Stated:
“[The victim] told me he asked Travolta what area of the body he wanted him to concentrate on the most, and Travolta replied the buttocks.
He said that during the course of the massage, Travolta kept removing the towel covering the area, and exposing his buttocks.[The victim] told me it is improper to remove the towel, so he kept replacing it.
He said after the massage was complete they went into another room where he performed what he called a ‘Citrus Scrub’ on Travolta.”
“He said that during the procedure, Travolta told him that he was very attractive and that he had gotten him ‘excited’… They moved to the steam room, where Travolta asked if he would accompany him, so he wouldn’t have to sit alone.
He said shortly afterward, Travolta removed his towel and was nude. He told me that Travolta then asked him if he would like to see some of the massage techniques that he [Travolta] likes.”
During the incident, the masseur alleges Travolta asked him if he had “ever had his a**hole licked buy another man” and other lewd comments such as, “what would he do it he ever had a sexual encounter with another man” and if so “tell him what he would do , so he [Travolta] could have something to fantasise about”.
At this point, the young professional left the steam room, reportedly feeling “uncomfortable” and “violated”.
Officer Peters also stated how despite the fact the complainant deserved “prosecution against Travolta for Sexual Battery”, the details of the story “[did] not meet the elements of battery or sexual battery” and furthermore, “none of the acts or statements were witnessed” and therefore “cannot be corroborated”.
By the time the complain was submitted to Officer Peters, “Travolta had already checked out of the hotel”, and so he was unable to question him.
As a result, no charges were filed, an the case was then “closed unfounded” and Officer Peters advised the masseur to “speak with a civil attorney”.
